Tom McCarthy is a founding partner of KAF Financial Advisors, LLC, and is the company's managing partner. He graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree from the Whittemore School of Business in 1985.

Tom is very active in his community and has served on various committees and boards throughout his career. Currently he serves on the Board of the South Shore Health and Education Foundation. This is the organization that raises money for the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, Massachusetts. Tom holds the Chartered Financial Consultant designation and is currently enrolled in the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional curriculum through The American College.

Tom, his wife, Lisa, and their children live in Norwell, Massachusetts
