KAF John J. Keenan

Keenan has more than 35 years of experience providing audit and consulting services to clients across a number of industry sectors, with a focus on delivery of assurance services to the Not-For-Profit sector, including independent schools, higher education, human services, religious and membership organizations.

Prior to joining KAF Financial Group, Keenan was a partner in an international CPA firm and served as the Quality Control Assurance Partner of that company's Boston office.

He has been a frequent presenter on various topics, including understanding financial statements and board governance for Not-For-Profit organizations.

A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, Keenan is a former member of the Quality Review Acceptance Board. Moreover, he is the Treasurer and a member of the Board of Trustees of Hallmark Health Hospital System and the chair if its finance committee, as well as a member of the Boston College Accounting Department Advisory Board.

Keenan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Boston College and a Masters of Science degree in Taxation from Bentley College.
