KAF Financial Group was the recipient of an award for its Internal Firm Programs from the Association of Accounting Marketing (AAM), KAF received the award at AAM's annual conference in San Diego, CA. AAM provides resources and support for accounting firms for marketing and sales professionals.

KAF Financial Group's winning Internal Firm Programs entry detailed the company's "Project Balance" and "Practice Growth." The programs have the respective aim to achieve high levels of recruitment and retention and to build business through a series of specific initiatives.

"Our goal with "Project Balance" was to make ours the CPA firm of choice for our existing members, provide superior service to our clients, and to encourage everyone to live the work/life balance that we all crave. To that end, the firm is set up a program in 2007 that makes the "tax crunch" season run more smoothly for everyone," said Becky Dowd, Marketing Director at KAF Financial Group. And "Practice Growth" resulted in a 12% growth in 2006 and a 15% growth in 2007; the implementation of specific practices and initiatives has had a large impact on the firm's growth."

KAF scored 3.83 out of a 4 point system for its Internal Firms Programs entry. Judges from the Association of Accounting Marketing commented that the programs were "innovative, people-friendly - and it works."
