Robinsons Raise $18,000 for Cancer Research

Mark & Donna successfully biked 84 miles on Saturday, August 4th to raise money for Cancer research through the Pan Mass Challenge ( www.pmc.org )! Everything went according to plan as they rode in the triple H weather on Saturday (Hot, Humid, & Hazy). The only little bump in the plan was just before the last water stop Mark legs started to cramp. He had a banana, Gatorade, and some water during the break which seemed to do the trick. Mark was able to finish the last 7 miles without pain and a big smile on his face.

"It was so rewarding to know that I was riding in memory of so many people but even better to know that with each mile I may be helping find a cure, or at the very least to create more survivors." Mark stated about the race. "It was a wonderful experience and we (he and Donna) hope to bike the 2 Day, 192 miles route next year!"

Mark and Donna also surpassed their fundraising goal of $10,000, raising over $18,000!

The PMC donates 97% of all funds raised to cancer research.
