KAF Team Gives Back

Our talented team members are not only great at accounting, auditing and taxes but they also are very generous with their time and their pocketbooks. This spring our team members supported their favorite charities by raising funds, walking, and attempting to play 100 innings of Baseball. We are very proud of these team members for giving back to our communities.

Mary Ling, Tax Team - supported the 39th Project Breads, Walk for Hunger. Over 43,000 people turned out, raising more than $3.3-million for hungry families and individuals across Massachusetts. Residents from across the state united in the spirit of giving to walk the 20-mile route, which threads through Boston, Brookline, Newton, Watertown, and Cambridge.

Kristen Fusco, Audit Team - Participated in the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life. Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs of your American Cancer Society. During the event, teams of people gather at schools, fairgrounds, or parks and take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track at all times during the 24 hour period.

Joe Fabiano, Partner - Joe has supported the MS Walk for several years, helping to raise money to fund countless programs and services, research, and raising the awareness of MS. The day when we finally find the cure for multiple sclerosis is getting closer.

David Woods, Tax Team - Participated for the 3rd year in the 100 Inning Baseball Spectacular on Saturday, May 26th and Sunday May 27th. The 100 Inning Baseball Spectacular is a 100 Inning baseball game played by members of the Boston Men's Baseball League to support the Curt's Pitch for ALS fund.
